Utah School Districts Announcing Make-Up Days

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – School districts that canceled classes after a winter storm slammed into parts of Utah are starting to announce make-up days.
Some districts have confirmed these dates with KSL TV while others have compensatory (comp) days or emergency make-up days listed on their calendars.
ALPINE SCHOOL DISTRICT: Comp days usually scheduled during spring break but district spokeswoman Kimberly Bird said officials are petitioning for kids not to have to make it up during the break.
CANYONS SCHOOL DISTRICT: Lists April 24 as a comp day but notes “school emergency closure days will be made up first on President’s Day and the board reserves the right to determine a secondary date.”
JORDAN SCHOOL DISTRICT: Administration will recommend a day to be voted on by the board.
JUAB SCHOOL DISTRICT: Make-up day during spring break in April.
MURRAY SCHOOL DISTRICT: March 27
NEBO SCHOOL DISTRICT: March 20 but not finalized.
PROVO SCHOOL DISTRICT: April 6
SALT LAKE CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT: May 22
