Student Group Crowdfunds Utah County Billboard: ‘We Stand With Mitt’

OREM, Utah – A group called Student Republicans of Utah along with the group Republicans for the Rule of Law announced a new billboard, paid for by thanking Sen. Mitt Romney.
The billboard, which reads “We Stand With Mitt,” is located near BYU’s campus. The groups crowdfunded the project.
“Many Utahans know Mitt to be a man of great faith and character,” said Alex Thompson, president of Student Republicans of Utah. “Most are proud of what he has done, despite what the media might say. We want to take this opportunity to thank Mitt for his integrity, character, and faith in doing what he thought was right, especially when it wasn’t easy.”
The student group raised the funds through GoFundMe.* The billboard will stay up over the next week.
