Two Critically Injured In Sanpete County Rollover Crash

FAIRVIEW, Utah – Two people were injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash on U.S. Highway 89 in Sanpete County, according to officials with the Utah Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash happened Monday night between Mount Pleasant and Fairview.
A 1999 Chevrolet Suburban was traveling south when it struck a deer that stepped out onto the road, according to troopers.
The driver and a passenger were ejected from the vehicle, which ran off the right side of the road and rolled.
Both people were airlifted from the scene in extremely critical condition, according to troopers.
Northbound and southbound traffic on U.S. 89 was alternating, using one lane and the shoulder, while crews investigated and cleared the scene.
No further update on the victims’ conditions was given.
