SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah – Fire crews responded to a shed fire that was starting to spread overnight, authorities said, and it could have gotten worse.
Fire officials received a call at approximately midnight about a fire in the area of 19 East and 3150 South.
Crews said the fire started in a shed behind a home before spreading to another shed next door. Two cars were damaged by the flames, and a nearby power pole caught fire.
Only three homes reported power outages because of the fire. Rocky Mountain Power was on scene fixing the line early Wednesday.
No injuries were reported. The incident is under investigation.
