Pocatello Authorities Searching For 2 Suspects After Man Shot In The Face

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Pocatello authorities are searching for two men after they discovered a victim had been shot in the face, according to police.
The incident happened early Sunday in the Idaho city, located about 64 miles from Utah’s northern border.
According to a PPD statement, the suspects have been identified as Mason Reid Gonzales, 20, and Mitchell John Gonzales, 22.
The victim was able to leave the scene for help and is expected to survive, officials said.
“Upon arrival, officers secured the scene and discovered that a 41-year-old man had already left the scene in a private vehicle to seek medical treatment,” according to the PPD statement. “During officers’ investigation, they discovered the man had been shot in the face.”
Police said the two suspects were armed with a handgun at the time of the incident, but they don’t know if they’re in possession of any other weapons.
