Three People Injured After Their RV Caught Fire In Salt Lake

SALT LAKE CITY — Two people were treated for their injuries and released while another was transported to a burn center after their RV caught fire, according to officials with the Salt Lake City Fire Department.
Fire crews responded to the scene at 1639 West and 1700 South around 7:15 p.m. Saturday. They said the RV was completely engulfed in flames when they arrived.
Crews were able to quickly control the blaze.
Officials said they are conducting an investigation into what exactly caused the fire.
The names of the three RV occupants have not been released.
Captain Anthony Burton with the Salt Lake City Fire Department said the American Red Cross came out to help, providing the occupants with a temporary shelter.
