It was a testament to the priorities of his life. He chose to live with an absolute commitment to God, family and country; it was a life of service and sacrifice. His values led him into the military, to seek public office and defined his life as a servant of God. Taylor firmly believed that every life has a purpose. If you find out what God wants you to do, your life will become bigger than your own, and God will use you to work miracles. He has met with members in large and small settings — often addressing them in their own language — and with world leaders. He has also reached out to victims of crime, comforted those grieving and acknowledged dozens of children. The goal of the 95-year-old world religious leader is “to build bridges of cooperation rather than walls of segregation.” It is the kind of outreach that touches entire congregations and individuals at the same time.
