2 More Deaths, 166 New Coronavirus Cases In Utah

SALT LAKE CITY — Local health officials have reported two more deaths in the state of Utah related to the coronavirus, and 166 new cases.
The updated case counts were released just after noon Saturday.

According to the latest numbers from the Utah Department of Health, there have been 3,948 total confirmed cases in the state. 41 people have died.
Of the confirmed cases, 329 required hospitalization.
90,206 people have been tested so far.
Health officials said two women — both older than 60 and with underlying medical conditions — died from the virus. One was a Salt Lake County resident who lived at a long-term care facility. The other was a Washington County resident who was hospitalized prior to her death.
