SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – One of Utah’s top economists is warning about a major concern as Utah’s economy looks forward to reopening.
Natalie Gochnour, chief economist for the Salt Lake Chamber, said the big concern is reopening businesses and then having to close everything again.
However, it’s just one of the possible shapes Utah’s economic recovery could take.
Gochnour, who is an associate dean in the David Eccles School of Business and director of the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute at the University of Utah, goes into more detail about Utah’s economic recovery paths in an opinion piece at the Deseret News.
