156 New COVID-19 Cases Reported As Utah Enters ‘Moderate Risk’ Phase

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Department of Health has reported 156 new COVID-19 cases as the state enters the “moderate phase” of its Utah Leads Together 2.0 plan.
The total number of reported cases in the state is now at 4,828 with 403 hospitalizations. No new deaths were reported Friday, leaving the state total at 46.
According to UDOH, 112,558 Utahns have been tested for the coronavirus. The state estimates 2,062 people have recovered.
The state entered the “moderate risk” phase on Friday, which eased some restrictions and allowed many nonessential businesses to reopen.
