SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – A proud alum of Utah State University has become the latest person with connections to the state to compete in NBC’s The Titan Games.
Created and hosted by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, the show matches contestants with feats of strength and agility sure to amaze.
The latest season of The Titan Games features competitors from the medical field at the center of the coronavirus pandemic response.
Among them is Dr. Kaleb Redden, now living in Boise, Idaho.
“I’m a small town guy,” Redden told KSL. “Started out working in the oil fields. Ended up as a doctor. Didn’t get to play pro football, but hey, I’m on the big stage with Dwayne Johnson. That’s pretty alright.”
Redden will enter the Titan Games arena, but he’s just your average doctor, body-builder, athlete, and father of three. He was born and raised in Wyoming, educated in Logan, and was Big Blue at Utah State, so you know he’s got the chops to entertain.
“It’s going to pull at your heartstrings, because (of) the stories of the people that are there, the other athletes. Man, I can’t wait for America to meet these athletes. They’re just regular everyday people that have some pretty phenomenal stories,” he said. “I’m humble and grateful to be counted as one of them.”
The Titan Games air on KSL, Mondays at 7-9 p.m.
