SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Gov. Gary Herbert on Wednesday announced the fourth installment of the Utah Leads Together plan.
The latest version of the plan will focus on the foundation for economic recovery.
The immediate need is to get Utahns back to work, Herbert said, as well as investment in the intermediate term in construction-ready infrastructure projects.
“It has us consider what is most important in the next 100 days, 250 days and 500 days,” he said.

Herbert stressed an important aspect of the plan involves Utahns taking personal responsibility on the directions being asked of them, including wearing face masks, social distancing, and personal hygiene.
“The bad news is we lost a lot of revenue,” he said. “The good news is it isn’t as bad as we thought it was going to be.”
Herbert said he believes the state is going to rebound and be stronger than it ever has been before.
