West Valley Police Searching For Shooting Suspect

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah – Officials with the West Valley City Police Department said they are searching for a man accused of shooting and killing someone Monday evening.
Police said 40-year-old Edwin Carrillo, who also goes by “Shorty,” is wanted in connection with the death of Abdulraheem Al-Hisnawi, 49.
Carrillo was described as a 5-foot-3 male with a thin build. He has the word “ORGULLO” tattooed across his hairline.
The shooting occurred Monday around 7:10 p.m. near 1400 West and 3500 South.
Police said Al-Hisnawi, who was originally reported as a 36-year-old male, was taken to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.
Carrillo allegedly fled on foot and police had not been able to locate him.
