One Home Destroyed In Mammoth Fire

MAMMOTH, Utah – One home was destroyed in the Mammoth Fire, which has burned an estimated five acres in Juab County.
State fire officials said the new start was reported Wednesday and was threatening structures in Mammoth, which is about three miles south of Eureka.
Evacuations, which were ordered earlier Wednesday, have been lifted.
No cause for the fire had been given and firefighters said forward progression has been stopped.
Containment was expected later this evening.
