GARLAND, Utah — A man was transported by air ambulance while three others were transported by ground ambulance following a near head-on collision in Box Elder County.
Corporal Colton Freckleton with the Utah Highway Patrol said the crash happened Saturday morning near mile marker 94 on state Route 30.
An 18-year-old male was driving a pickup truck when he became fatigued and ran off the road through the median.
Freckleton said the teen hit a 50-year-old male who was driving a suburban in the opposite direction. The crash was described as an “off-set head on” collision.
Both vehicles had an additional occupant inside.
