State Reports 7 New Deaths, 413 New COVID-19 Cases

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Department of Health on Wednesday announced seven new COVID-19 deaths and 413 new confirmed cases.
There are currently 204 patients hospitalized with COVID-19, authorities report. Eighty-three of those patients are in ICU, and an additional 46 patients are currently hospitalized as COVID-19 persons under investigation.
UDOH reports 52.8% of all non-ICU beds and 65.6% of all ICU beds are occupied.
So far, the state has seen 30,891 total confirmed cases, 1,913 hospitalizations and 233 deaths due to the coronavirus.
Wednesday’s reported deaths include:
Davis County
- Male, between 65-84, hospitalized
Salt Lake County
- Male between 65-84, not hospitalized
- Male, between 45-64, hospitalized
San Juan County
- Female, older than 85, long-term care facility
Utah County
Female, between 65-84, not hospitalized
Weber County
- Male, between 45-64, not hospitalized
- Male, between 65-84, hospitalized
