Terra Fire Between Eagle Mountain, Saratoga Springs Contained

EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah – Authorities reported a new wildfire start in Utah County on Monday.
The Terra Fire was caused by heavy equipment and had burned between 7 – 10 acres by 2 p.m. It was quickly contained and did not threaten any structures.
There were seven other active wildfires burning in Utah. Authorities also reported three fires in Washington, Utah and Box Elder counties, which have been contained and are officially out.
Fires are burning in Washington, Iron, Millard, Daggett, Uintah, Weber, Box Elder and Utah counties.
HAPPENING NOW: Crews are responding to a brush fire sparked by heavy equipment on the eastern side of Saratoga Springs. Authorities say no structures are currently threatened. It is roughly 7 – 10 acres and about 50% contained. (Video: Austin Schwanitz)
