Police: 1 Seriously Injured After SLC Shooting; Suspect Remains At-Large

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – One person was injured in a shooting near 640 North and 900 West, according to Sgt. Keith Horrocks with the Salt Lake City Police Department.
Police confirmed the shooting just before 2 p.m. Thursday.
Detective Greg Wilking said officers who arrived on scene performed life-saving medical procedures on the victim, who was shot in the abdomen.
Wilking said the suspect remains at-large and the victim was taken to an area hospital with extremely critical injuries.
Police were searching for a dark-colored Honda Civic or Accord, possibly being driven by a Hispanic male.
