Salt Lake City Home Hit By Stray Bullet

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – A Salt Lake City house in the Avenues was hit by a stray bullet overnight, according to police.

The residence is in the area of 200 East and Hampton Avenue.

Investigators retrieved shell casings from the playground of nearby Liberty Elementary School.

There is no suspect information at this time.

Authorities said the casings will be analyzed in the crime lab for a potential lead on any suspects or to see if they are connected to any other crimes.

No injuries were reported.
