SOUTH JORDAN, Utah – Authorities said a man was stabbed multiple times overnight in the parking lot of a Super 8 Motel.
Police responded to a disturbance call after 11 p.m. Monday in the area of 10700 S. Frontage Road, where two males had reportedly been arguing outside the motel.
When officers arrived, they discovered a 28-year-old man who had been stabbed approximately six or seven times.
The victim was transported to the hospital and is currently in stable condition.
Officials said the suspect is still at large, but they believe they know his identity.
Police said it appears the fight was over a drug deal, and there is not a threat to the public.
