SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Salt Lake VA is making free flu shots available for veterans at several locations across the region, with some locations including convenient drive-thru clinics.
Health officials are worried this year’s flu season could be especially challenging because it coincides with the COVID-19 pandemic.
They said the best defense against influenza and potential complications is a flu shot.
“The fact is, the flu shot saves lives,” said VA SLCHCS Director Shella Stovall. “We’re making it as easy as we can for veterans to swing by and ensure they’re protected.
