Police Investigating After Woman Shot Outside Smoke Shop In Murray

MURRAY, Utah — Police say they are investigating after a woman was shot during an altercation outside a smoke shop in Murray.
The incident happened at 2:17 p.m. Saturday near 4449 South Commerce Drive, according to Sgt. Ross Huff with the Murray Police Department.
The victim, who was shot once, was taken to the hospital where she underwent surgery. Officials said she’s in fair condition.
Huff said officers interviewed several individuals who witnessed the shooting, and that they believe they have a suspect identified. But the details of the incident remain unclear.
The victim’s identity has not been released.
