Bonneville High Moving Online After COVID-19 Outbreak

WASHINGTON TERRACE, Utah – A COVID-19 outbreak of at least 15 infections has forced Weber School District officials to move Bonneville High School to online instruction.
A news release said the new cases were diagnosed within the past two weeks and multiple classrooms were affected.
Online classes will begin Thursday. Students will return to in-person learning on Thursday, Nov. 12.
Classrooms will be disinfected while the students are away for online classes, the release said.
Football and volleyball events will happen as planned, as long as no one on either team is diagnosed with the virus.
The Lakers, the No. 3 seed in the state 5A playoffs, host No. 13 Alta High on Friday at 4 p.m.

Olympus and Taylorsville high schools in the Granite School District announced the move to online classes Tuesday because at least 15 students had been diagnosed with the disease.
