Washington Blvd. Closed After Injury Crash Involving UTA Bus

ODGEN, Utah – One person was injured after a vehicle collided with a UTA bus in Weber County.
The crash happened around 3 p.m. Wednesday in the intersection at 30th and Washington Boulevard.
UTA spokesperson Carl Arky said one person in the vehicle was injured. That person was transported to the hospital in unknown condition.
There were no passengers on the bus. It was not clear if the bus driver sustained any injuries.
The crash was not expected to interrupt transportation services in the area. Information about the cause of the crash was not available.
Traffic was closed in all directions as the bus sat in the middle of the intersection while police conducted their initial investigation.
The roadway has since reopened.
Officials did not say if anyone was cited in the incident.
