One Teen Dead, One Critically Injured In SLC Shooting

SALT LAKE CITY — One male teen has died while another was critically injured in a multiple scene shooting in Salt Lake City.
Officers responded to 950 South 1100 West just before 7 p.m. Saturday after multiple shots were fired in the residential area.
When officers arrived, they found an 18-year-old male in critical condition.
He eventually succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Lt. Steve Wooldridge with the Salt Lake City Police Department.
A vehicle involved in the incident was then located in the Glendale area near 945 South 900 West.
Another victim, a 17- or 18-year-old male, was found at the scene with gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
Wooldridge said there were three crime scenes involved in the incident, but he did not give any information on the third scene.
The incident was under investigation.
The names of the two victims were not released.
