FARMINGTON, Utah – Officials with the Davis School District said two more schools, Legacy and Syracuse junior high schools, are moving to online learning due to the spread of COVID-19.
The schools will be in soft closure beginning Tuesday with online classes beginning on Wednesday, a news release said.
In-person classes will resume on Dec. 1.
Several schools in the Davis District have made the recent transition to online learning. Bountiful, Davis, Farmington, Layton, Viewmont and Wood Cross high schools, as well as Shoreline Junior High School, previously moved to remote learning due to the number of positive COVID-19 cases at each school.
Those schools will return to class in person on Nov. 30, the release said.
Also, two other schools in the district will return to in-person classes at the end of the month. Northridge High School students return to the school on Wednesday and Syracuse High School students do the same on Thursday.
