Jordan School District Announces Some Schools To Move Online

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Jordan School Board held an emergency meeting Wednesday evening, where they decided to switch a handful of schools to virtual learning.
These schools will have regular, in-person learning Thursday and Friday and begin remote learning on Monday.
Elementary Schools
- Butterfield Canyon Elementary (two weeks)
- Foothills Elementary (two weeks)
- Westvale Elementary (two days)
Middle Schools
- Jensen Middle (two weeks)
- Joel P. Jensen Middle (two weeks)
- Oquirrh Hills Middle (two weeks)
Jordan School District’s announcement came after two high schools in other districts were added to the remote learning list.
Students at Granger High School in West Valley City won’t return to in-person learning until Dec. 2, and Fremont High School students in Plain City are expected to return to class Dec. 3.
