Body Discovered In Salt Lake City Field, Police Say

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Passersby discovered a body early Tuesday in a field in Salt Lake City, authorities said.

According to the Salt Lake City Police Department, the incident is being called “suspicious.”

The deceased adult was found just before 2 a.m. in the area of 1000 South and Redwood Road, SLCPD Det. Michael Ruff said.

Investigators have not yet determined a cause of death, and the person has not yet been identified.
