UHP: Passenger Struck By Cement Chunk That Fell From Truck

HELPER, Utah – The Utah Highway Patrol is asking for the public’s help in finding a truck that lost a chunk of concrete that smashed through a vehicle’s windshield and hit a passenger in the head.
Authorities said the incident happened Sunday at approximately 2:20 p.m. on state Route 6 at mile post 229.
“A portion of a concrete landscaping block fell from this vehicle, ricocheted off the highway and struck through the windshield of a black Subaru,” according to a UHP statement. “Inside the Subaru was a female passenger who was struck in the head by this cement block causing her to suffer severe head trauma.”
