Authorities Estimate Up To $500K In Damages After House Fire In St. George

ST. GEORGE, Utah – Crews responded to a house fire in St. George Sunday morning.
The incident happened shortly after 7 a.m. in the area of Bloomington Drive North, according to fire authorities.
St. George Fire Department Chief Robert Hooper said the home was fully involved when firefighters arrived.
The home is a total loss.
The residents and their pets were able to get out safely, he said. However, there’s an estimated $400,000 – $500,000 in damages due to a collection of expensive items inside.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
