AMBER Alert Canceled After Abducted Infant Located; Suspect In Custody

UPDATE: Officials with the Price Police Department said abducted infant Vallye Turner has been located and “appears to be healthy.”
Suspect Jacqueline Gardner was located with her vehicle in Lehi and taken into custody around 6 p.m. Thursday by Utah Highway Patrol troopers.
UHP Lt. Nick Street said citizens located the suspect’s vehicle traveling southbound on Interstate 15 near the Point of the Mountain.
Troopers were able to stop the vehicle and take Gardner into custody.

PRICE, Utah – Police have issued an AMBER Alert for infant Vallye Lorane Turner, who was allegedly abducted in Price by Jacqueline Gardner.
Gardner was driving a red 1999 Volkswagen Jetta GLS with Utah license plate No. 2G4WZ. Police described Gardner as a 5-foot-8 female with blonde hair and blue eyes.
Police say Gardner was last seen in Sandy near 10008 Creek Runway around 2 p.m. Thursday.
Turner was described as an infant with blonde hair and brown eyes, weighing seven pounds.
Police said Gardner was ordered to turn her children over to law enforcement on Wednesday following a court hearing.
