ALERT
There was an off-campus incident yesterday afternoon that resulted in the deaths of two people. At this time we know that one of the victims is not associated with the University. Details about the second victim are still unknown.— Southern Utah University (@SUUtbirds) January 28, 2021
“When they arrived on scene and entered this residence, they located two deceased subjects inside this residence,” said CCPD Sgt. Clint Pollock. “They secured the scene, contacted our investigators to respond.”
Clint said investigators do not have any other details.
Even though the scene is close to the SUU campus, it’s an area that isn’t necessarily all student housing.
