SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Lt. Gov. Deidre Henderson on Thursday announced some pharmacies will begin offering the COVID-19 vaccine to eligible Utahns.
During the state’s weekly COVID-19 update, she said 29 Smith’s locations and 18 Walmart locations will have the vaccine available beginning Feb. 11. The Smith’s pharmacies will receive 100 doses per week, and the Walmart pharmacies will receive 200.
The partnerships are part of the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program.
Those who wish to be vaccinated will have to make an appointment with the specific pharmacy. Both companies have set up websites to schedule appointments and to get further information.
