One Person In Critical Condition After Being Intentionally Run Over By Car In SLC

SALT LAKE CITY — One person was transported to the hospital in critical condition after police say the victim was intentionally run over by a car in Salt Lake City.
Just after 3:30 p.m. Sunday, an altercation began at the Smith’s located on 2100 South 900 East, then continued “throughout the neighborhood,” according to Salt Lake City Police Lt. Steve Wooldridge.
Witnesses reported seeing the suspect intentionally drive over the victim at 2240 South 900 East.
The individual was taken to the hospital in critical condition, while the suspect drove away from the scene.
Wooldridge said the suspect attempted to run away after he was found in Central City, but officers stopped him.
The man was booked on multiple felony warrants.
Additional details about the altercation as well as the individual’s identities were not immediately available.
