Two Firefighters Injured After Car Hits Firetruck At Station

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Two firefighters with the Salt Lake City Fire Department suffered minor injuries after officials said a car struck a fire engine at a station.

Crews said the fire truck was sitting on the station’s apron when the crash occurred Monday evening. The two injured firefighters were taken to an area hospital.

Fire officials said the driver of the car was taken to an area hospital by family members.

No further update on the driver’s condition was immediately available.

Officials have not released a cause for the crash.
