TAYLORSVILLE, Utah – A man is in custody after police said a domestic violence call led to a chase in Taylorsville.
Unified Police said they were called to the Majestic Oaks Mobile Home Park at approximately 6:30 p.m. on a report of a man with a gun threatening someone.
When authorities arrived, they said Gage McClellan Lint, 29, fled the scene in a vehicle and led police on a chase into Millcreek.
Police eventually spiked Lint’s tires, and he then reportedly crashed into a sign before fleeing on foot.
Officers were able to apprehend him and take him into custody.
UPD said three officers suffered minor injuries during the foot pursuit.
Lint was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault, domestic violence in the presence of a child, possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person, and fleeing from police, all of which are felonies. Officials said Lint also had numerous warrants.
