PROVO, Utah – One person was killed in a crash on 900 East near 400 North, according to Sgt. Nisha King with the Provo Police Department.
King said the crash occurred just before 4 p.m. Tuesday as a car pulled out of a Taco Bell parking lot.
A black truck struck that car in a T-bone collision as it entered 900 East.
The driver, who was later identified as 22-year-old Joseph Spencer, was killed in the crash.
King said it was too early in the investigation to determine if speed or impairment were factors in the crash. She added it was raining in the area before and after the crash.
Officials with the Provo Fire Department said 900 East would be closed while emergency crews remained on scene.
