KENANSVILLE, N.C. – Instead of a cat burglar, a North Carolina shelter is dealing with a thieving dog.
Duplin County Animal Services posted a photo of Sisu – a stray dog who was caught stealing a purple unicorn from a Dollar General.
And he didn’t do it just once, either. He tried to swipe the unicorn multiple times.
Animal control was called in, and the crime landed the plundering pooch behind chains.
Luckily, Sisu is not facing any charges. Instead, the animal control officer paid for the unicorn and gave it to him.
According to the Duplin County Animal Services Facebook page, Sisu has now found a family to adopt him.
DCAS shared multiple posts of Sisu and his new BFF on its page, noting that they’re always taking donations to help the animals being rescued, adding: “unicorns welcomed.”
