Man Wanted In Connection To Dallas Murder Arrested In West Jordan

WEST JORDAN, Utah – A 31-year-old man who was wanted in connection to a Dallas murder was arrested in West Jordan on Friday.
Authorities said Charles Anthony Beltran was taken into custody without incident by the U.S. Marshals North Texas Violent Fugitive Task Force, in conjunction with the Dallas Police Department and West Jordan Police Department.
Beltran was the third person arrested in connection to the murder of Marisela Botello-Valadez, whose remains were found in Dallas on March 23.

Botello-Valadez, who was from Seattle, was killed in Dallas last fall. She was last seen alive on Oct. 5, 2020.
“The Dallas Police Department continues to pursue justice for the family of Marisela Botello-Valadez,” the department said in a statement Friday. “We would like to thank our national partners for assisting us in making this arrest.”
Police said Beltran could face capital murder charges in Texas.
