3 People Killed In Arizona Train Collision Involving Two Vehicles

KINGMAN, Ariz. — At least three people were killed in Arizona after their vehicles collided with a train, authorities said.
The incident happened in Golden Valley around 2:42 p.m. Sunday, according to officials with the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
When deputies arrived on scene, they found two cars had been hit by the train and three occupants had died.
An investigation was then conducted.
Deputies discovered the two cars had stopped at the railroad crossing while they waited for an east bound train to pass. The drivers crossed the intersection once the east bound train passed, but they did not see a train was approaching from the west.
Both vehicles were hit.
The identities of the victims have not been released.
