Provo Firefighters Respond To Second Brush Fire At Same Spot In Under A Week

PROVO, Utah — Provo Fire & Rescue crews were called out to a brush fire near 2700 South Mountain Vista Parkway Monday morning — the second blaze at the location in less than a week.
Captain Sam Armstrong said crews from four stations were called to the scene just before 4 a.m.
The fire was estimated at a few acres and no injuries or damage to structures were reported.
Investigators were working to determine the fire’s cause.
Firefighters responded to the area on June 23 for a brush fire that burned significant piles of logs and brush.
Firefighters had not said what caused that fire.
