Man Shot At Midvale Motel Over The Weekend Dies

MIDVALE, Utah – Unified Police confirmed the death of 30-year-old Tyler Allen Williams after he was shot outside a Midvale motel early Sunday morning.

A witness told Unified Police that 26-year-old Lorenzo Parker and Williams got into an argument while they were drinking in the motel parking lot at 7263 Catalpa Street.

The shooting happened shortly after 3:30 a.m. Sunday.

Police said at some point Williams grabbed two metal spikes from a grassy area and charged at Parker.

That’s when Parker allegedly shot Williams.

Police booked Parker into the Salt Lake County Jail.
