SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Open up the shed, the garage, the storage space and pull out that old dusty bicycle because Free Bikes 4 Kids is at it again. They want to help kids so you need to help them.
This is an organization that has breathed new life into old bikes for years and then donated them to kids who need them. Remember the freedom a bicycle gave you when you were young? Freedom of transportation, to get around, to get a job? They love adult and kid bikes but especially need small bikes, tricycles and striders
Here’s how you can help. Take your old bikes to their warehouse at 2250 South Main Street and look for the blue door on the south side of the building.
You can drop off bikes for the next five Saturdays ending on July 31. Someone will be there from 10aam to noon to take in your bike. You can also drop off bikes at the Bountiful and Sugar House locations of Guthrie Bicycle during regular business hours.
