SALT LAKE CITY — One person was killed and four others were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Salt Lake City.
Lt. Steve Wooldridge with the Salt Lake City Police Department said a white sedan and black SUV crashed at the intersection of 900 West and North Temple Street just before 5 p.m. Sunday.
The driver of the white sedan, an adult male, was pronounced dead on scene.
Wooldridge said four people in the SUV were taken to area hospitals. That included two adults with serious injuries, a 5-year-old with serious injuries and a 16-month-old with minor injuries.
Eastbound North Temple was closed from 900 West to 800 West.
The crash also shut down the Trax line in the area while investigators worked to determine the cause of the crash.
