One Building Destroyed, Three Apartments Damaged In Tremonton Fire

TREMONTON, Utah — Two people were displaced after a fire destroyed a building and damaged three apartments in a strip mall, according to Chief Robert LaCroix with the Tremonton Fire Department.
Firefighters responded to the mall in downtown Tremonton around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and had the fire under control by 5:20 p.m.
LaCroix said one firefighter was treated for fire exhaustion and no additional injuries were reported.
Investigators are working to determine the fire’s cause. Crews from Garland, Tremonton and Brigham City responded to the fire.
LaCroix said the rest of the mall was not damaged in the incident.
