Family Safe After Fire Broke Out In Garage Of Providence Home

PROVIDENCE, Utah — A Providence family is safe after a fire broke out in their garage.
The incident happened at 169 East and 360 North around 8:08 p.m. Friday.
Officials with the Logan Fire Department said crews arrived to find the residence fully engulfed.
The fire started in the attached garage and eventually reached into the home and attic.
Officials said a dad and two kids were home when they heard a noise from the garage. When they walked outside, they found the garage in flames.
Luckily, no injuries were reported, but officials said neighboring homes sustained some heat damage.
An exact estimate of damages was not immediately available.
The cause remains under investigation.
