WVC Man Shot Twice by Juvenile Family Member

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah — A victim suffered non-life threateaning injuries from a shooting in the area of Appleton Drive, police say.
West Valley City’s Roxanne Vaniuku confirms the shooting occured Friday night.
The man and his wife were engaged in a verbal altercation when the wife’s juvenile brother shot at the husband near front door, Vainuku tells KSL TV. She said he was hit in the wrist & grazed across his thigh.
Police were called to respond shortly after 8 p.m. Friday.
Vainuku said the victim is going to be okay, as his injuries are non-life threatening.
While the suspect is known, police have not said if he is in custody.
