Man Dead After Head-On Collision On US 189

HEBER CITY, Utah — At least one person has died following a head-on crash on U.S. Highway 189 in Wasatch County.
The incident occurred near 3000 South in Heber City just before 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
Cpl. Michael Gordon with the Utah Highway Patrol said a pickup truck was traveling southbound when, for an unknown reason, he crossed into northbound traffic and struck another vehicle head-on.
The driver of the pickup truck died as a result of the crash.
Additional details, including the man’s identity and the conditions of the other people involved, were not immediately available.
