WEST JORDAN, Utah — Police have asked for the public’s help in locating a missing man from West Jordan.

Authorities said 63-year-old Nelson Alequin-Torres was last seen at a Smiths, located at 7100 South and Redwood Road in West Jordan, around 8 p.m. Saturday.

He was described as five feet, four inches tall, weighing approximately 140 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes.

Officials said the 63-year-old was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt and black jogging pants with white stripes.

He drives a 2021 Blue Dodge Journey with Utah license plate number W794YB.

Police said Alequin-Torres has a history of strokes. He’s also missing the middle finger on his right hand.
