TOOELE, Utah — An 8-foot boa constrictor that was reported missing in Tooele last month has been found, according to Detective Colbey Bentley with the Tooele City Police Department.
The snake’s owner contacted police Wednesday and said the reptile was found near a deep freezer in his home.
He told officers he believes the snake may have been there for a while.
The boa was reported missing on July 2 after it was accidentally freed from its container. Contractors who were removing old windows in the home tipped the cage over.
